- Expose the break. We grind the fracture out to raw concrete and remove all degraded material, so the full extent of the crack is visible.
- Plan the shear points. We mark where the load will be carried before anything is anchored.
- Cut the channels. Deep channels are cut across the crack at intervals.
- Set the steel. Heavy-duty, high-tensile steel staples are fitted into the channels.
- Lock it in. The staples are anchored with non-shrink structural epoxy resin, which binds both sides of the break into one solid unit.
- Restore the surface. The repaired section is finished so that it blends into the existing Marbelite or fibreglass.
The steel absorbs the lateral pressure that was tearing the crack open, so the repair moves with the structure instead of fighting it.

An honest limit

We grind back to sound material, repair the damaged area, and rebuild it with matched resin, matting and gelcoat.
